I can’t speak highly enough of the International School Estepona and the great staff that Gill and Howard have assembled. For a small school, they have excellent facilities, and we we have noticed such an improvement in our son’s scholastic abilities. He is constantly asking to go to school, even on weekends! I would highly recommend ISE for parents in the Estepona/Marbella area.

This is a little gem!

Opened just over 10 years ago, I reckon, it is the first – and so far the only – international school in Estepona to be a member of NABSS. Look this up in Google to find out more about it. It is a guarantee of professionalism.

It has a lovely address – Calle Azahar, Orange Blossom Street – but the more important thing is the quality of its facilities, which are excellent.

And more important still is the curriculum. The school says that they follow the English and Spanish National Curriculum (not so sure that there is a Spanish national one – we follow the Junta de Andalucía BOJAs on education, but we see what they mean), and are providing the sort of preparation that will allow the children to slot back into a school in the UK if you return, or enable them to continue here in Spain.

The EYFS classes follow the Montessori route which has stood the test of time all round the world. Another tick here.

This is just Primary, so they will need to move on at 11. But being in a warm, caring yet professional environment where learning and progress go hand-in-hand with personal development and pastoral care will give them a solid base for further studies.

And for life.

Nuestra hija lara empezó este año en el colegio internacional de estepona el padre y yo estábamos muy preocupados por su integración al no hablar nada ingles , ha sido maravilloso el primer dia se quedo por la mañana llorando y sorprendentemente, cuando fuimos los dos a recojerla a la salida estaba feliz muyyy contenta !!! ha sido estupendo el ver que hay tanto cariño hacia los alumnos por parte del profesorado y directores del colegio ,

recomiendo este colegio por su equipo humano y el trato hacia mi hija lara
